Details: This is the Eden Project, a former China Clay pit which has been transformed by the wonderful imagination of its creator Tim Smit.

The Eden Project opened to the public in 2001 with its two Biomes, the Rainforest and the Mediterranean, and continues to educate people from all over the world about our dependency on plants.

Only 4 miles from St Austell the Eden project has ample parking spaces and a Park and Ride scheme with modern buses to take you to the visitor centre entrances.

If you are staying in Cornwall you will be able to buy your Eden Project tickets from most Tourist Information Offices before arriving at this attraction. This will save you time during busy periods in the summer months. You can even obtain your tickets in advance by email from the Eden project website.
